Match Summary

Man of the Match: Bidias

Date: Sunday, 4 October 2026

Football has a strange sense of humour.

Last Sunday, Orange were kings of Alvaston Park after all the banter, confidence, and big talk from the Green team before kick-off 😜. Orange hit the net 10 times, Green 5—a 10–5 demolition. For the entire week, the Orange guys walked around with the swagger of champions.

And Green? Green had the whole week to think about it, hear the banter, and ask themselves one simple question: "How do we answer back?"

And answer back they did. Because this was no longer just another Sunday football match—this is the CAMDER FC League Cup Series, with everything on the line. This was revenge. This was pride. This was njakiri warfare 😂!

The Green troops arrived. Bodies were back. Confidence was back. Calls were made throughout the week to make sure everybody was available, and two important soldiers returned to the battlefield: Kase and the midfield general, Sama.

Sama had missed the opening game, but his teammates made sure he heard all about that painful 10–5 defeat. Now he was back with unfinished business—even denying a drink on Saturday because of the Sunday game 😂. That is commitment! That is discipline!

🧠 COACH DELAPENA — AKA THE SPANISH TACTICIAN

Waiting for Green was an Orange team with experience of its own, guided by Coach Delapena—a terrific veteran playmaker and tactical thinker.

From the touchline, he commanded the team:

  • Pointing and organising the structure.

  • Making critical tactical decisions and reading the game.

  • Intimidating the opposition with pure banter!

Player for the first half, coach for the battle, and commander from the touchline—with Delapena pulling the strings, Orange were determined to make it two wins from two.

⏱️ ROUND TWO — ORANGE STRIKE FIRST!

The whistle goes, and immediately you can feel it: this is different. Green are sharper, Orange are confident, tackles are flying, and the midfield is congested.

Then came the opening blow! Biggy did it again! The same Biggy who scored twice in the opening game returned to the scoresheet, beating the Green goalkeeper to put Orange ahead.

Green pushed forward searching for an equaliser and won a penalty! Tambe, the goalkeeper himself, stepped up to become the hero. He took a breath, ran up, and... MISSED! Green's perfect opportunity slipped away, and Orange survived to hold their lead at the break.

HALF-TIME: ORANGE 1 — 0 GREEN

🚀 SECOND HALF — THE GREEN MACHINE STARTS!

Green came out with an aggressive mindset, forgetting the 10–5 defeat and the missed penalty.

  • 84 MINUTES — GOAL! SG Micky found the net to level the game at 1–1! The comeback was on!

  • 90 MINUTES — GOAL! Orange responded immediately to take the lead back at 2–1!

  • 98 MINUTES — GOAL! Chico—the Midfield Maestro—unleashed explosive acceleration to blow past the defence like Djaka Njanka-Beyaka in full flight and make it 3–1!

With a two-goal cushion and 20 minutes left, Orange supporters were already smiling. But you can never count out the Green boys!

🔥 KASE & THE GREAT ESCAPE

Kase—the man who was missing from the opening match—played like he had four lungs, running, pressing, and recovering everywhere across the pitch.

  • 118 MINUTES — GOAL! Kase pulled one back to make it 3–2! Suddenly, the entire atmosphere shifted.

  • THE LATE DRAMA: VP was subbed back on, driving forward into the 18-yard box before being brought down by a heavy challenge from the goalkeeper. PENALTY TO GREEN!

Mirac stepped up in the 125th minute under massive pressure. He took a breath, ran up, and SCORED! From 3–1 down, Green completed a monumental comeback to draw 3–3!

Six goals, two penalties, a missed spot-kick, and a late redemption—Game Two delivered another historic chapter in this growing rivalry.

While the late goals grabbed the headlines, one defender stood like a wall: Mr Bidias. Defending like Rigobert Song Bahanag personally handed him the armband, Bidias shut down attack after attack with authoritative composure.

  • 🏅 MAN OF THE MATCH: MR BIDIAS — The rock at the back and commander in defense.

  • ⚡ SPECIAL MENTION: CHICO — Unstoppable speed, another goal, and an outstanding performance in attack.
